Korea’s LG U+ Likes Oslo

Codec developer and manufacturer APT, a division of WorldCast Systems, provided its WorldNet Oslo codec to Korea’s LG U+. 

In turn, LG U+ provided some of those codecs to Korean broadcasters covering the Olympic Games in London.

Some of the units used utilized APT’s SureStream technology for providing redundant signal paths to improve signal delivery. The WorldNet Oslo is an IP/E1/T1 audio codec.
