After a two-year process, MediaSud Telecomunicazioni Srl’s new 130-meter tower in Parabita, Italy, is complete.

Designed to host up to 30 radio stations, the tower had to meet strict technical specifications imposed by Italian authorities and MediaSud customers, including expected radiation patterns for the stations and limits on electromagnetic fields emitting from the structure.

Engineers from Telecomunicazioni Aldena using Aldena’s EMLAB software helped ensure that the tower met both client coverage needs and the limits on electromagnetic fields.

“Thanks to the professionalism of Aldena and our cooperation, we have gotten some results that will allow us to offer our clients a unique solution within the broadcasting market,” stated MediaSud head Antonio De Vittorio.
