Audio Precision debuted its APx586 16-channel audio analyzer, which features 16 input channels and eight output channels for signal analysis.

The company says it was designed for manufacturers of automotive amplifiers and other multichannel devices that need to test more than eight independent channels.

The company also introduced version 2.0 of its APx500 Series measurement software. It says APx2.0 runs faster than APx1.0 and permits 14 key measurements to be taken across 16 channels in seven seconds.

Additional highlights include residual THD+N values added to the real-time oscillator signal monitor; optimal reference level can be set with automatic regulation; additional high pass and low pass and weighting filters; the multi-tone analyzer has been expanded; and the Measurement Recorder records repeated stress tests over time.
