The FCC announced details for an auction of 18 FM, AM and FM translator construction permits.

The closed auction of CPs for 13 FMs, two FM translators and three AMs is set for July 20. Minimum opening bids range from $500 for an FM translator in Manahawkin/Warren Grove, N.J. to $100,000 for Class A FMs in Rosendale, N.Y. and Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico.

Auction 88 applicants must provide the commission with additional information by March 12.

The agency seeks public comment on competitive bidding procedures. Comments are due to AU Docket 10-31 by Feb. 25.
