Milan, Italy-based BVMedia Srl has joined the growing list of Axia Audio Integration Partners, and will provide integration services for Axia IP audio consoles and routing networks.

According to Roberto Bellotti, COO/CTO of BVMedia, he has appreciated the possibilities of the Livewire protocol since he first used an AXIA IP driver.

“When I used an Axia IP audio driver for the first time in 2006, I knew immediately the potential of the Livewire networking protocol,” he said. Bellotti noted the capability to integrate “Axia technology with our products allows BVMedia to offer our clients advanced solutions with the best value for cost.”

Audio quality, painless integration, easy modularity, fast wiring, ease of relocation and, of course, pricing, are the most important discussion points with our customers, explained Bellotti.

More than 30 partner companies make broadcast equipment that connects directly via Ethernet to Axia networks, according to the company. Axia says its IP audio networks are now on-the-air in more than 3,000 studios worldwide.
