Courtesy of SBE Chapter 16 comes notice of a theft of broadcast equipment from a Clear Channel remote vehicle in Seattle.

The proper reports have been filed with the Seattle police department but Terry Ryan of Clear Channel in Seattle (aka “the vic”) is being proactive and circulating a message.

Writes Ryan, “Please keep your eyes and ears open for various sized, clearly marked with the Clear Channel logo Pelican cases that contained amongst a number of items a Zephyr Xstream MXP ISDN codec, a Comrex Access portable IP codec, Lectrosonics foldable dipole antennas and antenna combiners. Most, if not all smaller miscellaneous items, from Shure SM58s to Sony MDR7506 headphones are engraved with ‘CCRSEA-ENG.’”

If you have info or hear about any of this equipment, write to Radio World and we’ll put you in touch with Terry Ryan.
