Digigram says two digital media experts have been added to its staff. Eric L. Richardson joined Digigram as director of strategic marketing, while James Ohana takes on the role of solutions integration manager.

Richardson has held senior management positions at Fostex Research and Development Inc., InfoTech Inc. and Dalet Digital Media Systems Inc.; and is president of Futurewave, an AV/IT consultancy.

Ohana also is a former Dalet employee, having begun his career at Dalet’s Paris office in 1996. During his time there, he managed customer deployments such as ABC, NPR, Worldspace and XM Satellite Radio.

Looks like such a system is designed to work around the problem of wireless carriers wrecking Pandora's business model by moving from unlimited data to metered data. But it looks too complicated to work, and it actually reduces the desirability of radio in general. iBiquity wants faster adoption of HD Radio than the market is providing. They need to be patient. Already HD Radio is on a much faster adoption curve than FM radio was in its infancy. They need to work on getting HD into more cars, including into the base sound systems, not $1000 upgraded sound systems.
