Ecreso, the transmitter division of WorldCast Systems, has announced a new component and upgrade of another for their digital transmitter line.
The new goodie is the Helios FM exciter. Outputting between 20–100 W, Helios has DSP for refining a signal and a built-in stereo encoder. RDS encoding is offered as an option.
Ecreso's Goliath amplifier platform has come under some new spit and polish. The "revamped" Goliath is now more energy-efficient and available in 750 W, 1.5 kW and 2.5 kW modules.
Up to 10 kW outputs can be configured. Redundant power supplies are included. Air or liquid-cooled.
