Elettronika to Make HD Radio Gear

Italian-based Elettronika S.r.l. has signed a license with Ibiquity Digital to manufacturer develop, manufacture and market AM and FM HD Radio exciters.
Italy joins other countries that are testing or have adopted HD Radio, according to Ibiquity, including Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Switzerland and Thailand. Last week, we reported Mexico is allowing stations to use IBOC in the part of the country that borders the U.S.
Established in 1988, Elettronika S.r.l. is based in Palo del Colle, Italy.
