Miami in July can be a little … warm … but it can also be a little fun. Especially if you visit to attend the Latin American Broadcast Show, July 9 and 10 at the Hyatt Regency.
Better known as LABS, the show promises seminars, exhibitors and special events. Sessions of interest to radio broadcasters will include radio engineering tips, the latest in IP audio, media convergence and new media, the latest in encoding technologies, new transmitter technology and an HD Radio update. Specialists from Comrex, Telos and Wheatstone will conduct some of these seminars.
Approximately 60 manufacturers are expected to attend including a strong contingent of radio-oriented manufacturers. The show is, of course, of particular interest to broadcasters from the Caribbean and Central and South America.
