FM Auction Bidders Selected

The FCC has made decisions about which companies are qualified to participate in the upcoming auction of FM construction permits later this month.

The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and the Media Bureau finds 109 applicants are qualified to bid for a total of 119 construction permits in the FM broadcast service.

Bidding in auction 93 is slated to begin March 27.

The commission determined 36 bidders were not qualified to participate in the auction.
