Organizers are calling it the first HD Radio preview of a release by a major recording artist.

The premiere of Gretchen Wilson’s “One of the Boys” was this week on multicast station “Gretchen 99.9 HD2,” six days before its general release.

The station is multicast on WKIS(FM) in Miami and is named for Gretchen Wilson, a country artist with Sony/BMG. The HD2 outlet announced a 24-hour world premiere of the album.
