This is not what you want to see when you show up for work at your radio station.

The pix are of flooding in Preston, Minn., and that’s the studio building of Cumulus stations KFIL(AM/FM) and KVGO(FM).

Chief Engineer Bill Dahlstrom tells Radio World operations have returned to normal; the stations were off the air for about 15 hours, ending Monday, because the staff could not safely occupy the studio facility.

Note the sandbags at the station door and the suitably titled River Street sign.

The transmitters were not flooded. Dahlstrom said cleanup continues in the studio basement.
