John George to Broadcast Connection

Equipment retailer Broadcast Connections announced that radio equipment sales veteran John George has joined the company.
Based out of Lexington, S.C., George will cover the southeast and middle Atlantic territories.
In the past he has worked sales for Harris, Dielectric and LBA Technology. He will continue to rep Dielectric products.
George has some 40 years of broadcast industry experience, including on-air, management, sales and engineering experience.
Additionally, he provides technical services for local radio stations. He was involved in the HD Radio upgrade of University of South Carolina station WUSC(FM) and is co-chairman of the South Carolina Broadcasters Association Engineering Committee.
He also is involved with the South Carolina Emergency Communications Committee. He is a member of the IEEE and the SBE.
