Netia, a developer of media automation packages including the Radio-Assist 8 suite, will bring a new module for Radio-Assist 8, CamDirector, to the NAB Show.

Camera operation controls include zooming and panning tracking along with switching between cameras in multicamera situations. It will also facilitate transcoding video into streaming video or podcasts for Web use.

Camera switching can be manual or automated by following the active mic.

Radio-Assist 8 also has adopted Netia's Workflow Engine. The Workflow Engine is designed to interface with the various modules of the automation suite and ease progress of projects from early stages to finished multimedia/multiplatform creations.
