What will be the first big breakout HD Radio multicast channel?

The National Association of Broadcasters said its nomination process for the NAB HD Radio Multicast Award is now open.

Last year’s winners were KBCO(FM) Denver’s “The Studio C Channel” and WRIF(FM) Detroit’s “Riff2.”

The deadline for submitting entries is July 1.

The award was started last year to salute HD multicast stations for innovative programming. It will be presented during The NAB Radio Show in September in Austin, Texas.

Stations must submit their entry online or e-mail Chris Suever csuever@nab.org.
