Omnia Audio reported the shipment of its 7,000 Omnia One processor. The company considers it “the single most popular audio processing product introduction in history.”

The processor launched five years ago. Founder and President Frank Foti noted the milestone.

The manufacturer says the box can be deployed as an FM, AM, HD/DRM, multicast or Studio Pro unit. It incorporates a five-band FM processor in a 1 RU package. Its processing topology is the same as in the original Omnia FM famous, a wide-band AGC / leveler followed by a four-band AGC and separate, rather than integrated, four-band limiter section. The company also highlights its pre-emphasized final limiter/clipper.
