The RadioDNS project is open for members and ready to promote the technology to device manufacturers and broadcasters.

At the second General Assembly meeting, held in Geneva in mid February, attendees voted unanimously to accept the results of the Statutes Drafting Team. RadioDNS can now legally form itself as a not-for-profit organization and supporters of RadioDNS can now become members of the organization.

The next step for the organization is selecting officers and a steering board. Elections will happen via electronic ballot on 1 April.

According to the organization, RadioDNS is a collaborative, open-standards project designed to enable the convergence of radio broadcasting and IP-delivered services. It seeks to enhance the radio-listening experience through a combination of broadcast technology and additional information delivered via IP.
