Looking for some great used tools?

Check out Liberty Tool Company near Penobscot Bay in Maine, said to be New England's largest secondhand tool company. It's way bigger than my daddy's old workshop!

It's run by the Jonesport Wood Company, which has three locations. According to their website, Liberty Tools has buildings filled with antique tools and parts, like hammers, saws, screwdrivers, welders, oscilloscopes, pliers, welders, tachometers, microscopes, chucks, drills, presses, screws and drill bits.

An engineer who went says it's well worth the visit. Let me know about your own cool or interesting sources of parts or any other neat stuff. I'm at Lstimson@nbmedia.com.
