Texas Dominates Marconi Dais

Attendees to the 2010 Radio Show will be forgiven if during this year’s Marconi Awards they think they are in Dallas rather than the nation’s capital.
The reason? The National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards Show will be hosted by NAB Hall of Fame broadcaster Ron Chapman. The easy-going fellow has been a Dallas radio fixture for decades.
And providing entertainment will be country music singer Jack Ingram, a native Texan who first gained fame on Dallas music stages.
The 2010 Radio Show will be held in Washington Sept. 29–Oct. 1; the Marconi Awards presentation is scheduled for Sept. 30. The 2010 Radio Show is a co-production of the NAB and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
