Pursuing the enthusiastic Internet radio audience, NPR is marketing an Internet radio device that has a menu dedicated to NPR stations and programs.

The device, retailing for $199.99, is made by Livio. It provides access to thousands of online sources; but the big selling point is an NPR menu that lets users find, search and bookmark NPR stations, podcasts and content, by topic or by program. NPR plays up the ability of listeners to personalize their NPR experience. A “My NPR” button on the front lets listeners store favorite stations.

The network said proceeds support NPR programming and stations.

Use of the device requires an Internet connection with a wireless router, or an available Ethernet port for a wired connection.
