Nautel said its V10 HD Radio model has been placed on-air as part of the first commercial FM HD Radio live broadcast operation in that country.

The station is Uniradio’s XHTY(FM), “La Invasora.” Nautel said it was Mexico’s first licensed FM HD Radio broadcaster; it serves northern Mexico but is also big in the metro San Diego area.

Gustavo Astiazaran is CEO/president of Uniradio; the company has 12 stations including five in the San Diego-Tijuana region.
