The International Association of Audio Information Services announced its new roster of officers, member directors and public directors for 2008 and 2009. There are five new officers.
Kim Walsh, director of the Detroit Radio Information Service, will lead the board as president. Stuart Holland, manager of the Minnesota Radio Talking Book Network, fills the position of first vice president. Nick Morgan, director of the Virginia Voice for the Print Handicapped Inc., was named second vice president.
John Fullerton, executive director of Radio Talking Book Service Inc. of Omaha, will act as secretary; and Heather Lusignan, director of administration for VoicePrint/NBRS of Toronto, will continue on as immediate past president.
Art Hadley of the Kansas Audio-Reader Network; Mark Dewitt of the Radio Reading Service of Greater Cincinnati; and Andrea Pasquale of Sun Sounds of Arizona were elected as member directors. Marjorie Williams from Minds Eye Information Service of St. Louis and Pervalia Gaines from WJCT Radio Reading Service of Jacksonville, Fla., were appointed to fill vacancies as member directors.
Deborah Kendrick, a publicist/writer out of Cincinnati, and David Gerstmann, CEO of WireReady NSI, were appointed to fill open public director positions.
